Certain Celts

Since we so strongly associate The Celts with Ireland and Scotland and maybe Wales, it's worth pointing out that some of my Celtic Heritage, i.e. my Irish ancestry, includes Normans, as was mentioned two posts ago. Further confusing things, some of the Luxembourg & German ancestors may very well have been of Celtic genetic stock, although my understanding is culturally they would have been absorbed by the future conquerors of Luxembourg and surrounding. And most Irish are believed to be of preCeltic stock, so the Celts invaded Ireland & Scotland and their culture wins out over the preCeltic inhabitants culture but they do not wipe them out genetically.

If this post is not coherent or precise, chalk it up to my attempt to summarize my understanding of the subject.
